Background to Product Development

Initially our product development focused on a continuous improvement process in order to meet the storage requirements of large Australian hospitals. This process of continual R&D was driven by the need to produce cost effective and Occupational Health and Safety compliant products which meet new standards in infection control.

Many products have been developed in conjunction with our clients. For example a range of chrome wire mesh baskets were developed to replace louvre solid plastic bins for wall panels.

The focus was to reduce the high cost of cleaning the solid plastic bins. The plastic bins were natural direct and dust attractors and difficult to clean successfully. The solution was to replace the plastic bins with a chrome wire basket which fits on the same louvre panel or on static wire shelving as required. These wire baskets come in many sizes and dividers are also available.
